Otterbein University will host a lecture by language learning expert Dr. Bonny Norton on March 16 at 6 p.m. in Cowan Hall. Because Dr. Norton explores the ways in which experiences, interactions and encounters in daily life effect non-native English speakers as they learn English, her lecture will be of interest to teaching professionals, international service professionals, non-native English speakers, and any person who works or interacts with non-native English speakers. She looks at how interactions with everyone from coworkers to cashiers at the grocery store, as well as personal identity, impact language learning.
