Westerville Saturday Farmers Market brings Central Ohio grown food and farm products to the Westerville community from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. For 2026, the Market will take place rain or shine, from May 16 through Sept. 26.

In 2025 and 2026, due to construction of the expansion of the Westerville municipal complex at 21-29 S. State St., the Market’s home in the parking lots behind City Hall is not available. So, the Market for 2025 and 2026 has relocated to the parking lots of the COhatch/North High Brewing property at 240 S. State St.

The Market vendors attract approximately 4,000 people per week to Westerville.

Rick Carfagna, Senior VP for Government Affairs
Ohio Chamber of Commerce
Rick Carfagna serves as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. In this position, he is responsible for leading the Chamber’s legislative team and overseeing the Chamber’s public policy agenda.

Carfagna formerly served three terms in the Ohio House of Representatives, including a role in House leadership as Assistant Majority Floor Leader, where he helped develop and implement the majority caucus’ policy agenda. He also spent time as Chair of the House Finance Subcommittee on Higher Education and as Vice-Chair of the House Public Utilities Committee.

As State Representative, he was the architect of Ohio’s $270 million Residential Broadband Expansion Program to bring high speed internet infrastructure to unserved households throughout the state. He also had measures enacted that combat human trafficking, stabilize mental health emergencies, provide customer protections to parents of children in daycare, and provide greater access to, and emphasis on, computer science offerings in K-12 education.

As former Chair of the Ohio Retirement Study Council, Carfagna provided legislative oversight over the state’s five public retirement systems and their approximately $218 billion in combined assets. Carfagna also chaired the Midwestern Higher Education Compact, a consortium of 12 member states that strengthens postsecondary education through cost-savings initiatives and policy solutions.

A native of the Columbus area, Carfagna earned his B.A. in Political Science from John Carroll University. From 2002 until 2017, Carfagna worked as Government Relations Manager for Time Warner Cable, where he oversaw legislative and regulatory issues at the local, state, and federal levels. Prior to his tenure in the Ohio House, Carfagna was twice elected to the Genoa Township Board of Trustees where he served for seven years.

Rick currently serves as the Governor’s appointee to the Sunset Review Committee, tasked with evaluating various state agencies, boards and commissions to evaluate their usefulness, performance and effectiveness. He was also appointed by the Ohio Senate to the Ohio Pavement Selection Advisory Council under the Ohio Department of Transportation. Rick is a board member for Groundwork Ohio, a non-profit focused on early childhood issues, and is on the executive committee of the Association of Independent Colleges & Universities of Ohio.

Rick Carfagna and his wife, Jill, reside in Genoa Township and are the proud parents of a daughter, Isabella.

Solterra Saturdays is a ticketed outdoor wellness series at The Galaxy at Polaris, created to introduce the Solterra community before our doors officially open. Set in the outdoor amphitheater just steps from our future club, this summer series brings together fresh air, intentional movement, wellness activations, local partners, refreshments, retail, and community connection. Our first Solterra Saturday will be led by Megan Grospitch, one of Solterra’s yoga instructors. Megan will guide an outdoor power flow yoga experience designed to build heat, energy, and strength while remaining accessible for a range of levels. Guests will have an early opportunity to meet a member of the Solterra instructor team and experience the thoughtful, welcoming style that will define Solterra before the club opens. Beyond class, Solterra Saturdays will introduce the broader Solterra experience. Each date may include a rotating mix of wellness-aligned vendors and community activations, such as activewear shopping, mini massage or bodywork sessions, skincare consultations, fresh juices or wellness drinks, floral bar activations, custom Solterra beverage collaborations, Pilates accessories, Solterra merchandise, and other curated lifestyle offerings. The Rotary Club of Westerville Independence Day Parade will step off on State Street at 10:30 a.m., after 2022’s highly successful move of the parade from the afternoon to the morning of the Fourth.

The parade route will remain as in recent years, beginning at Old County Line Road and proceeding south to Electric Avenue.

Staging will begin in the parking lot of St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., beginning at 9 a.m.

Local civic organizations, sports and school groups, and neighborhoods are encouraged to get their own entries together for the 2026 Parade.

The Rotary Club of Westerville’s daylong Independence Day Celebration concludes as always with our big Fireworks Show, presented with the sponsorship of the City of Westerville.

The fireworks follow our Free Concert Series at the Westerville Sports Complex, after the last band leaves the stage about 9:45 p.m.

The Fireworks Show will be timed to patriotic music, simulcast live from the concert venue at the Sports Complex as it is broadcast by the Westerville radio station and event sponsor, 104.9 FM The River.

The best place to catch the Fireworks Show will be the Westerville Sports Complex – the site of our Free Concert Series and Food Truck Festival from 5-9:45 p.m.

The Concert and Food Truck Festival site is a great place to stick around and catch the Westerville fireworks!

Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to make an Independence Day evening of it!

NOTE: Heritage Park will be closed to residents as a viewing location for the fireworks display, due to safety precautions. The Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave., is the best site for viewing the show! The City also will close Cleveland Avenue between County LIne Road and Heritage Park, from 2-11 p.m.,, to accommodate the expanded celebration!

This fun, family-friendly event will take place at the Westerville Sports Complex, with participants enjoying the beautiful biking and running trails that surround the area.

For the past 15 years, Central Ohio Primary Care has hosted this event to benefit the communities we serve. All proceeds from the event directly support local initiatives that improve the physical and emotional well-being of underserved populations in central Ohio. Since its inception, we have granted nearly $1 million to local charities, making a lasting impact on our community.
