Join us April 7 for "Unpacking the CARES Act" facilitated by Ryan Gleason\, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. We can be experiencing information overload with all the programs and services recently developed or updated to assist through this crises. While the CARES Act is over a 900 page bill let us help breakdown two important sections within the Act that can benefit businesses: Payroll Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). Send questions to Janet Davis ahead of the Conversation. \n\n\n\nMEET RYAN: Ryan is a Manager of Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Great Lakes Region that encompasses Illinois\, Indiana\, Michigan\, Ohio\, and Kentucky. Prior to working at the Chamber\, Ryan worked at a government affairs firm working with clients on a broad range of issues like taxation\, banking issues\, and financial services issues in all 50 states and the federal government. Ryan's experience also includes working in federal affairs for an Illinois governor\, working in a state legislature\, and working on a number of successful statewide campaigns. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign\, double-majoring in Economics and Political Science and currently resides in Chicago.
