DESCRIPTION:Ohio State football legend and two-time Heisman trophy winner\, Archie Griffin\, will be the keynote speaker for the Friday Fare Fundraiser\, hosted by the Westerville Christian Church (WCC).\n\n\n\nFriday Fare began in the 2008-09 school year as an extension of Westerville Christian Church's 40th Anniversary celebration. Today\, the Program is one of WCC's most important missions. The process of operating and mobilizing the distribution of Friday Fare bags involved nearly 40 volunteers each month. Each Friday\, WCC volunteers deliver bags to schools that contain two meals for a family of four.\n\n\n\nRecipients are recommended by school personnel who know each student's situation and who target families in their buildings who need a little extra help. The Program served nearly 90 families in 15 schools. The food contained in the bags provides roughly 700 meals each week\, or well over 20\,000 meals every school year.\n\n\n\nThanks to the sponsor\, LogoSPEED.
