DESCRIPTION:PRE-FAB is a collaborative workshop that empowers students to think critically by designing and constructing assistive devices through 3D Printing technology. The program provides a unique intersection of science education and empathy\, teaching students crucial skills to excel as industry professionals.\n\nThe PRE-FAB Workshop immerses 7th -12th grade students in human-centered design\, providing opportunities to explore disability awareness\, team-based learning through interactive activities\, and understand the importance of innovation and iteration across industries.\n\n\n\nSUMMER 2025 WORKSHOP DETAILS\n\n\nForm5 will host PRE-FAB for 7-9th grade students over the last two weeks of June. Registration opens on January 20th\, 2025 and closes May 31st\, 2025.\n\n Register TODAY to take advantage of our $25 early bird special offer ends March 17th\, 2025!\n\nWorkshop Schedule:\n\nWeek 1 Monday (6/16)\, Wednesday (6/18)\, Friday (6/20)\n\nWeek 2 Monday (6/23)\, Wednesday (6/25)\, Friday (6/27)\n\nAll sessions are held from 9 am 4 pm with lunch provided. \n\nOn Friday (6/27) @ 5 pm we will host a presentation to showcase the Cohort's work to invited guests and the participants parents.
