DESCRIPTION:Individuals seeking a seat in the boardroom of for-profit companies or of certain nonprofit organizations\, a role in the C-suite\, a seat on government boards and commissions and leadership other arenas of civic engagement are better equipped to lead and participate if they have knowledge of the fundamentals of the economic development process. WELD is excited to announce its Foundations in Economic Development Series. This 4-part virtual program will provide an excellent overview of economic development that will build attendee knowledge and confidence in the subject area.
