A familiar face as a Weekday Anchor in Columbus\, OH\, she became part of the NBC4 family in October 2014.\n\n\n\nA proud alumna of the renowned Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University\, Jennifer earned her Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast News. Her academic journey also included specializations in Spanish and Geography.\n\n\n\nBefore joining NBC4\, Jennifer honed her skills as a Reporter\, Anchor\, and News Producer at WHIZ-TV in her hometown of Zanesville\, OH. \n\n\n\nBeyond her professional endeavors\, Jennifer is a passionate advocate in the fight against heart disease. As a survivor\, she navigates a daily battle\, actively collaborating with the Central Ohio Chapter of the American Heart Association to raise awareness and support.\n\n\n\nJennifer shares her life in Columbus with her husband\, Gerald\, and two beloved children\, son Noah and daughter Harper. Their youngest child\, Miles Owen\, born still in October of 2021\, remains a cherished presence for the family\, and a source of inspiration for their strength and resilience. To honor his life and create a lasting legacy\, Jennifer and her family established Miles' Mission\, an organization to increase awareness around stillbirth and pregnancy loss\, promote quality aftercare programs\, and align community partners to share in the work.\n\n\n\nJennifer's life journey reflects not just professional success but a profound commitment to advocacy\, resilience\, and the unwavering pursuit of making a positive impact in the lives of others.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will be collecting donations to support Miles' Mission\, a non-profit organization dedicated to offering support and compassion to women and families navigating the intricate and often challenging path of pregnancy and infant loss.
