DESCRIPTION:Join the Westerville Area Chamber for the October Women in Business Luncheon featuring:\n\nKayla Anderson\n\nSports Reporter/Producer\n\n \nKayla will share her background with us   her past and how she got in the business.  She will also talk about the difficulties as the media world changes\, and then tell us what makes Columbus such a great sports town!\n\n\n\n\n\nBiography:\n\nKayla is a reporter and anchor for the 10TV sports department\, and joined the station from KGUN-TV in Tucson\, Arizona. Now in the home of the Buckeyes\, Kayla is no stranger to college football.  At KGUN\, she covered the University of Arizona and Pac-12 conference.\n\n \n\nA graduate of West Valley High School in Spokane\, WA\, Kayla played softball and performed with the Dance Team. She took that passion for sports and pursued a career in broadcasting. Attending Washington State University\, she worked with Cougar Athletics. In 2005\, she graduated from the Edward R. Murrow school of Communication with a degree in broadcast/journalism.\n\nKayla started her career as a news/sports reporter in Bend\, OR. From there she made her way to Alabama\, and learned a whole new sports culture\, plus\, met her husband! She has also spent time doing sports in her hometown of Spokane and in beautiful Missoula\, Montana.\n\nYou can catch Kayla Tuesdays through Saturdays reporting or anchoring for 10TV Sports. \n\n\nLuncheon Charity: The Alpha Group of Delaware\, Inc.\n\nMonetary donations will be collected at the luncheon (cash or check).  All checks can be made out to\, The Alpha Group.\n\n\n\nGet the Early Bird Special of $25 and Register through October 16\, 2016. \n\n\n\nAll Women in Business events are open to all to enjoy.
