WEBINAR - A UNIFIED RESPONSE: CONSENSUS FROM WITHIN THE WELLBEING INDUSTRY TO THE EEOC
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued a highly-anticipated preliminary rule on workplace wellness programs and their impact on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They followed that up by releasing their proposed rules on the Genetic Information Non-Disclosure Act (GINA). Alyfe Wellbeing commends the EEOC’s proposed rules to help clarify what employers can require in their wellness programs while ensuring that they aren’t discriminating against disabilities or not inquiring about personal health in a way that violates federal law.
While questions remain about what the final rules will say, and within the various regulations, this webinar will provide you with practical assistance in navigating through the complex laws. Join John Harris, co-author of the recently published article in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine addressing industry consensus on what the EEOC should consider before finalizing their rules.
