Grief Matters Workshop: Grief and Compassion

We live in a world that can be intolerant of grieving individuals, and the grief process itself. After the death of our loved ones, the expectation is often that we return to “life as usual” as quickly as possible.

In this session of Grief Matters, we will examine the hurdles faced by those who grieve, peering through the lens of individual, family, and societal expectations as we endeavor to claim and offer ourselves compassion in the midst of grief.
