"Making Sense of the American Civil War"
The series is designed to offer participants an opportunity to learn about the legacy of the Civil War and emancipation through historical and contemporary literature and to share thoughts on these works in scholar-led discussions at the library.
Dr. mark Grimsley, award winning American milirary historian, author and professor of history at the Ohio State University, will lead this series of four discussions. The first program will be held on September 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the library's Meeting Rooms.
