Empower Physio and Wellness is a private, out-of-network orthopedic practice in Westerville, Ohio, and we're hiring a part-time physical therapist to join our team.
This isn't a role for someone who just wants a protocol to follow and a schedule of people to treat. We're looking for someone who thinks critically, reasons through complex presentations, is excited by a challenge, and genuinely loves the journey of getting better at this work. We’re looking for someone with strong manual therapy skills who is confident with dry needling, and who either already knows TMJ or is excited to learn it. We’re looking for someone who has a grounding presence so that patients feel safe and cared for, as well as confidence so that clients trust their clinical judgment completely.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
Why You'll Love Working Here
Great client care only happens when the person giving it feels supported. Here's what that looks like on our team:
-
Hands on mentorship from Dr. Stephanie Duffey
-
Real clinical collaboration, not just supervision
-
Weekly coaching and clinical development
-
Support for continuing education
-
A team that actually celebrates together: birthday lunches, wellness outings, and the occasional adventure
-
Room to grow into a leadership role as the practice grows
This Is a Great Fit If You...
-
Think critically and reason through complex presentations instead of just following a protocol
-
Have strong manual therapy skills and are confident with dry needling
-
Either bring TMJ experience or get genuinely excited at the idea of learning it
-
Are warm and empathetic with patients while standing in your clinical confidence
-
Are comfortable practicing outside the constraints of insurance, and can confidently explain the value of that model to clients
-
Want part time work because it fits your lifestyle
-
Bring your full presence to the hours you're here
-
Are looking for a private, cash based practice where your clinical judgment and your time are both valued
-
Love the physical therapy profession and want to be in a space where you can practice to your full capacity (and beyond)
Our Values
Everything at Empower Physio runs on three things.
Radical candor. Clear and open communication is the lifeblood of a high performing team. We communicate directly and with positive intent, giving honest feedback sooner rather than later, with the team’s best interest at heart, so that everyone grows faster. We receive feedback the same: with appreciation, receptivity, and an open mind. We act on that feedback in alignment with our expertise for the greater good of the company. We extend this same radical candor to our clients, coaching them in a way they can productively receive and implement on their personal transformation journey.
Relentless pursuit of excellence. The highest level of excellence is always the expectation, both personally and professionally. The focus is on the journey and the person you become along the way, rather than a specific outcome.
Personally, we train like athletes in mind, body, and spirit. Self-care – including sleep, movement, nutrition, personal development, self-awareness, mental clarity, rest, and recovery – is non-negotiable. Our energy is the foundation of everything we say, do, and believe. We do the basics relentlessly to better ourselves and others.
Professionally, we are committed to constant learning, creative thinking, and sharpening our skills as clinicians, professionals, and leaders. Client care is always delivered at the highest standard, combining clinical expertise with client goals in shared decision making. We confidently stand in our authority, delivering an excellent client experience and empowering clients to take ownership of their success.
Rooted relationships. We are rooted in relationships, with our team, our clients, our referral partners, and our community. We are the go-to place for healing, orthopedic care, and true transformation because people trust us to invest in them, not just treat them. We are genuinely interested in each person we encounter – nothing is transactional or surface level. Changing the game of orthopedic physical therapy care and building a movement that lasts requires strong roots, and strong roots are built on people and loyalty.
If those values light you up, you'll fit right in here.
