Greg Murray is a 40-year radio veteran and currently the C.B.O. (Chief Blabbing Officer) of MurrVox Voice Imaging, a radio and TV production company, that he and his wife Julie have owned and operated since 2000. Greg has worked in Country, Rock, and currently in the Contemporary Christian formats doing radio imaging and production. MurrVox serves nearly 20 stations around the United States with imaging, underwriting, and concert tour production services.
Greg spent 25 years as the Public Address announcer for the Columbus Blue Jackets announcing more than 1,000 CONSECUTIVE regular and playoff games including the 2015 NHL All-Star game and the NHL Stadium Series between the Blue Jackets and the Detroit Red Wings at Ohio Stadium where, coincidentally, he sold pop as a teenager at Buckeye games! He is still waiting for his perfect attendance certificate from the CBJ.
Greg and Julie both grew up in Westerville and at one time attended the same elementary school together but never knew each other until high school. They’ve been married more than 30 years and have two sons, Wesley, a professional videographer, and Cooper has been in the restaurant industry for more than 12 years and in 2025 welcomed their first grandson, Theo. Greg and Julie are advocates for the Central Ohio Alzheimer's Association and co-founders of the annual Voices ''FORE'' ALZ charity golf outing. To date, they have raised more nearly $300,000 for the Association.
