PRE-FAB™ is a collaborative workshop that empowers students to think critically by designing and constructing assistive devices through 3D Printing technology. The program provides a unique intersection of science education and empathy, teaching students crucial skills to excel as industry professionals.
The PRE-FAB™ Workshop immerses 7th -12th grade students in human-centered design, providing opportunities to explore disability awareness, team-based learning through interactive activities, and understand the importance of innovation and iteration across industries.
The Workshop emphasizes using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Printing to equip participants with practical knowledge across various career fields.
