John Palmer is responsible for public relations strategy and serves as OHA’s media spokesperson working directly with reporters, editors and publishers with statewide and national media organizations. He manages communication and public relations projects for OHA advocacy, health economic and policy, and health care quality teams. Prior to OHA he served as media and marketing communications manager for Ohio Dominican University and was the public and media relations manager for the Central Ohio Transit Authority. John is Accredited in Public Relations through the Public Relations Society of America. He holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and journalism from Capital University, and a master’s degree from Ohio University in organizational communication.
