Otterbein University and the Westerville Division of Fire will be hosting a vaccine clinic for the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine from 12-7 p.m. on Monday, May 17, in the Clements Recreation Center, 180 Center Street, Westerville.
The clinic is open to our extended Otterbein community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, family members, and community partners.
It’s quick. The clinic will use Johnson & Johnson vaccines, so one shot and you’re done!
It’s convenient. The clinic is on campus, and there is ample free parking located near the entrance to the Clements Recreation Center.
It’s effective. The vaccine is 100% effective against hospitalization and death from the virus.
Once you schedule your appointment, please prepare for the following:
- Remember to bring your ID.
- You must wear a mask.
- Wear clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm.
- Please review Johnson & Johnson's Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) Fact Sheet for Recipients and Caregivers.
- A copy of Westerville Division of Fire's HIPAA policy is available upon request.
DO NOT schedule an appointment if you:
- Are under 18 years old. (Johnson & Johnson is approved for ages 18+.)
- Have had a severe reaction after receiving a vaccine with a component of the Covid-19 vaccine.
- Have received passive antibody therapy (monoclonal antibodies or convalescent serum) as treatment for Covid-19 in the last 90 days.
- Have received another vaccine in the last 14 days.
- Have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
