About Us

101 Beer Kitchen is a Gastopub style restaurant built on a foundation of community and a strong sense of friendship and family. The name “101” represents the couple’s wedding anniversary, 10/1, & their brand identity: simple, back-to-basics approach to food, beer & the education thereof. Whether you’re looking for a meal, a beer, or a snack & camaraderie, 101BK is the perfect spot for residents & visitors alike.
Guests will find signature items such items as Beer Cheese Soup with Pork Croutons & Housemade Tater Tots. Owner & Chef Thad Kittrell will also serve up specialty dishes including guest favorite Green Chili available during the fall and winter months. The Kittrells are blessed with four young taste-testers at home which help create a kid’s menu full of delicious and healthy selections. Kiddy meals are served on a fun cafeteria tray with worksheets for independent minds to make their choices! Menus change seasonally along with regularly rotating tap selections. The most unique aspect of 101 Beer Kitchen, though, Thad says are “the people running it. Our staff has a passion for what we are doing and a real desire to serve and share their best experience with guests.”

Under the creative direction of Co-owner Jessica Kittrell, 101 Beer Kitchen was designed to suit suburban areas such as Westerville while offering a fresh take on rustic sophistication. The locally designed and manufactured furnishings perfectly house the craft pints & inventive cuisine. “We want to support our community and be an addition the residents are proud to bring their friends & family to.''
